How To Use Quick Layer

When you are on a Program sound in the Korg Kronos, you can add a Quick Layer very easily.

Program Screen

Simply tap the blue button labeled Quick Layer, and you will see the following:

As you can see, and hear when you play, there is now a second sound layered with the first! You will probably want to adjust the volume of the second sound to bring it down in the mix, using the slider as shown here:

Adjust the level of second sound

You can also change either sound by clicking the right-facing “arrow in a box” that is just to the left of the program name. Tapping that icon will bring up the Bank/Program Select screen:

Now that you know how to enhance your playing ability using layered sounds, you can have even more fun playing your Korg Kronos!!

I’ve been playing keyboard since I was about 8, but have never taken formal lessons. I’m self taught and mostly play by ear. I have a YouTube channel for my music, and one for my Basenji’s!
